This directory in three volumes provides up-to-date information on the major public sector contracts in the EC over the last year, and an analysis of recent contract awards behaviour by country. Each volume covers several countries.;Each of the books is organized in two sections. The first section provides information on the nature of public contracts and awarding bodies. Contracts covered include the major supply, works and services contracts for each of the countries affected by EC procurement legislation.;This section offers analyzed data on value, type and participants in the arrangement of contracts. It also states whether sub-contracting opportunities exist.;In the second section, there is a suppliers index, providing the names and addresses of all major suppliers in each country addressed by the particular volume. This section also provides analysis, by industrial sector and product group, of all the suppliers to the public sector in each country, with cross-referencing and indexing to each of the individual supply, works or services won by suppliers in each country.
