Led by the ring leader known as William Winters, these men ignored the safety of pregnant women in order to save their company and pension plans with a drug called Advernox, a product that they all knew had a major side effect. It was their hope that an elite team of scientists lead by a reluctant Richard Traylor could fix the problem. After months of failure, the team discovered that the first batches of Advernox had been manufactured in an old facility in upper New York, where the cleaning wasn't performed correctly. As long as those batches were still out there women and their babies would die...it was just that simple. Then there was "The Chester Project where some of the same powerful men still ruled by greed used innocent babies as a front to acquire more funds for the corrupt BMX Pharmaceutical Company and their new partner in crime, the "Gentlemen" from the Far East. Although this is the second book in the series, it is actually the beginning of the story. This is where Richard decides to leave his current job in Memphis for one that he always dreamed of in the "Big Apple" this decision also leads to the demise of his relationship with his childhood sweetheart and fiancée, Stacey Carter. He eventually falls for the lovely Annie Brookshire, who is also an employee of BMX Pharmaceutical but only after coming to the realization that Stacey had no plans to take him back. Throughout both books Richard Traylor, thought by some to be the smartest scientist in the world, finds himself caught in the middle of a world gone mad. He struggles to give BMX Pharmaceutical what they want while his kids and loved ones lives are threatened. Finally, it appears that justice is served after several of the men of BMX Pharmaceutical are found dead and the company is found guilty in a court of law. That is until Mr. Traylor receives a strange phone late one night after making love to the beautiful Candis Lockart, formally known as Lisa Lockhart. Note, I said Lockhart, not Stacey and not Annie... Now "The Final Project" will bring all of this craziness to an end. At least that is the hope of Richard Traylor. This however will be the toughest mission of them all. The mission is indeed impossible and lives will definitely be lost but in the end fate will put her mark on this Project but you must read it and keep in mind that fate controls all...
