Darkness grips the small village of Maidenton. He must stay alert and watch his step as he's been labeled a traitor... and a murderer. Confusion and misunderstandings threaten to ruin everything, but a glimmer of hope remains in a few old friends and a group of Followers tucked safely beneath the ground. Will Beem and the new band of Fellows be able to rescue the victims of two Shallum priestesses, or will their dark powers prove to be too great?
