Publisher's Synopsis
Together with the previously published parts I to III, parts IV and V contain a complete collection of the papers prepared for the group of twenty-four by outstanding experts on the international monetary and financial system. The papers deal with the problems with which IMF and World Bank Members were confronted at various times since 1978, and which were the subject of discussion and debate between the developing countries and industrial countries represented in these two institutions.
