Publisher's Synopsis
Cindy Divine spends her first eleven years of life at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Her elementary-school principal was asked to describe her. She said, "Cindy was an honor student at Barkley for five years. Her long, red hair,
curious green eyes, freckles, and enchanting smile reminded me of a Norman Rockwell character every time I saw her. In a nutshell, she was an adorable little girl who could melt your heart without speaking a word."
In her eleventh year, Cindy absorbs the brunt of abusive changes in her mother. She also tries to prevent the brutal death of her beloved dog that was attempting to rescue her. Left alone in darkness and hopeless, she starts to commit suicide. Her guardian angel intervenes and counsels her.
After the angelic intervention, Cindy begins a journey that includes miracles, courtroom appearances, worldwide audiences, a demonstration from among the stars, and, in a speech to a joint session of the U.S. Congress, she chastises 535 politicians, the nine justices of the Supreme Court, Cabinet Secretaries, and the president. Elected and appointed public servants are shocked and silent when she exits the chamber. Her journey ends on a golden walkway.
