Publisher's Synopsis
Eleven-year-old Sam Claussen dreams of owning a metallic red Scorpion-Hawk mountain bike and begs his parents to buy him the bike for Christmas. However, the family is struggling because his father is out of work. Sam is forced to come up with a plan to raise money for the bike on his own. One day, while making a delivery to his grandmother at the senior apartments, Sam meets the strange Mr. Octavinosh, a stingy old man who offers to pay Sam for his help with a mysterious gift card. Sam soon discovers that this is no ordinary gift card. While on an amazing shopping adventure, Sam learns that the real treasures we hold in our hearts, is revealed by the choices we make.
