A serial killer is targeting Muslims in the city of Franklin and Hyder Ali could be his next victim.
Hyder Ali is working on a story that could be more explosive than any he had covered before. But when Hyder loses the story to a rival newspaper, he begins to question his position at the Daily Times. A young man's body is found in the dumpster and Detective Angelo Pascale is assigned to the case. Soon, another victim is discovered, this time in a wooded area. The murders are similar, which lead the police to think it could be a serial killer. When things get out of control and with Tom Nolan and Marina Lopez on vacation, Hyder finds himself more alone than ever.
