The annual Vampire Preservation Society meeting was the most anticipated event of the year. Members from around the world converged at a chosen location to celebrate, socialize, and conduct seminars on survival and ritual techniques. The 2015 meeting was being held in Gloucester, Massachusetts, a small fishing village hugging the coast of New England. The proximity to Salem, home of the infamous Salem witches, played a role in providing a safe environment for immortals who wanted to explore the area in an inconspicuous manner.
