President George W. Bush and President Richard M. Nixon are two of the greatest statesmen of modern times. One was ridiculed and the other disgraced. Both were motivated by their patriotism. Historically, Republican issues have not changed over the decades. Conservatives don't like change. They enjoy the status quo, so why change anything? But change is inevitable and comes whether people want it or not, and when they do not adjust to change, then their survival rate decreases. Natural selection is about survival of the fittest, as survivors come from the groups that are able to adjust to unplanned and unforeseen changes.
