The first season of the 1980s TV series following on from the events of the 1953 film of the same name. When radiation kills the bacteria that wiped out the aliens from the original invasion, the genocidal creatures are reborn with a new ability: to assume human form. Dr Harrison Blackwood (Jared Martin), along with microbiologist Suzanne McCullough (Lynda Mason Green), computer whizz Norton Drake (Philip Akin) and military colonel Paul Ironhorse (Richard Chaves), prepares to make a stand against this new extraterrestrial menace.
