This is Debralee Lyndon's Amazon book featuring her popular cartoon characters, the chicks and their coop pets. In this bedtime story, Bev has difficulty with spelling, especially with words that sound the same but are spelled differently and have different meanings. Those are called homophones. So the chicks set out to identify some common homophones, and they help Bev write a story using all 32 of them. It turns out to be a fun project as well as a learning experience. As in all of Debralee's books for children, special attention is given to correct spelling, punctuation, and grammar.
