Written in 1917 or 1918 during WW I. It is a quaint and dated spy story set in NYC. Jane Strong was a single young woman still living at home with her parents. She is recruited by the Secret Service to be an agent and spy on the Germans, who are our enemy in WW I. There is a love interest, American agents, and German spies doing nefarious things.
