Whether your child was adopted or not, Yip- Yuck Day is about celebrating family and embracing our beginning and our here and now.Jessica's parents had always been honest with her and had told her that she was adopted and that they were very lucky to have her in their lives. One day, while cleaning the attic, her sister, the biological child of her parents, finds pictures of her mother pregnant with her. These pictures stir up feelings in Jessica who doesn't have the same pictures of her beginning. Jessica has many questions and mourns not having the same keepsakes as her sister.
