This large high street bookshop is situated in the heart of bookland, only four doors away from the site of the world-famous 84 Charing Cross Road. Although the focus of the shop is academic, being in the middle of the West End of London, we also have a wide range of general interest and professional books to cater for all customers. A staff of dedicated and knowledgeable booksellers have over the past four years since the shop's opening built up some superb sections. In recognition of this, the shop won the coveted "Chain Bookseller of the Year" award in 1999. Particular strengths of the shop are its History, Philosophy, Finance & Investment, Fiction, Medical and Computing sections.
