Drama in which the idyllic existence of a newlywed couple is disrupted by the arrival of the husband's brother. When David (Benedict Cumberbatch) and Dawn (Claire Foy), a young couple, move back to the rural village of David's childhood it is with benign intentions. The pair plan to start a family and to raise the children in a safe and pleasant environment. However, when David's brother, Nick (Shaun Evans), arrives for an unexpected visit, the plans of the couple are thrown into disrepair. Nick's presence reignites a fierce sibling rivalry with David and, after a time, even threatens to bring to the surface unresolved frustrations between husband and wife.
