'I read Gap Years because my daughter has been talking about the possibility of entertaining a year out from studying next year. I can see that this book is useful to appease the parents worries slightly and also to help the intrepid traveller sort themselves out. From choosing where to go, looking after yourself, how to earn money and much more. And even what about when you come home. I found the way it was written concise and interesting. Particularly interesting were the chapters on the different places - each offering interesting places to visit, things to avoid and even suggestions of things to do before you go such as languages.'Totz2teens.co.uk
