Orange Prize for Fiction 2009 - Winner Announced
Marilynne Robinson has been named as the winner of the 2009 Orange Prize for Fiction for her novel Home. The author pipped five other shortlisted writers to win the award and the £30,000 prize.
Fi Glover, chair of judges said the panel "were unanimously agreed" and that the book was "a profound work of art".
