The Blackwell's Group consists of Blackwell Ltd, Blackwell UK Ltd, Heffers Ltd and their subsidiaries and related companies.

Pricing

Blackwell UK Ltd trading as Blackwell's Online (Blackwell's) aims to reflect the most accurate information on book prices at all times. We supply items at the publisher's recommended price except where a specific discount is offered. We will make all reasonable efforts to present accurate information but we cannot guarantee the price or our ability to supply any particular book.

Occasionally publishers may increase their prices unexpectedly, and this is often something we become aware of only upon ordering stock from them. In the event that this occurs, or in the event of a pricing error howsoever caused, we will, at our own discretion, either check with you before despatch to see if you still wish to receive the item at the new price, or cancel your order and notify you of the cancellation.

All prices are displayed in pounds sterling (£) on our UK website, www.blackwell.co.uk, and in US dollars ($) on our US website, www.bookshop.blackwell.com

3 for 2

Add three (or more) items from the promotional catalogue to your shopping basket. For every three items you add, the cheapest item will be free, and will be indicated as such in your shopping basket.

If you add further items, remove items, or alter the number of items in your shopping basket, the cost of all items will be recalculated accordingly.

Items from different promotions cannot be mixed - for the purposes of calculating the free item, all three items must come from the same promotion.

If you cancel any of a group of three items, the free item of the three will revert to full price as currently displayed on the site.

If you return any of the items involved in the promotion, we will recalculate the price of remaining items, and may charge you for any free items already dispatched using the payment method you used for the original order, without notice, at the then current price on the site. Postage and packing will be applied to each item in accordance with blackwell.co.uk's standard delivery rates and policies.

Offer subject to availability and may be changed or withdrawn without notice by blackwell.co.uk at any time.

Offer has no cash alternative.

Buy One Get One Free

Add an item to your shopping basket from a buy one get one free promotional catalogue and you may add a further item from the same catalogue at no extra charge.

The cheaper of the two items will be free.

Items from different promotions cannot be mixed - for the purposes of calculating the free item, items must come from the same promotion.

If you cancel the full price item in your basket prior to dispatch, the free item will revert to full price as currently displayed on the site.

If you return the item that was deemed free due to the promotion, no alternative free item may be selected. Should you return the more expensive of the two promotional items, the free item will be billed to you without notice, at the current price on the site, via the payment method originally selected on your order.

Offer subject to availability and may be changed or withdrawn without notice by blackwell.co.uk at any time.

Offer has no cash alternative.

Customers in VAT exempt territories within the EU

Unfortunately, our system is not yet able to distinguish VAT exempt territories within the EU, such as the Canary Islands and so customers will be charged VAT when placing an order.

Any such charges levied in relation to customs clearance must be borne by you. It is accepted by you that Blackwell Online has no control over additional charges in relation to customs clearance. Blackwell Online recommend that you check with your local customs officials or post office for more information regarding importation taxes/duties that may be applicable to your online order.
