We are an independent classical and jazz music shop in the historic centre of Cambridge.
Heffers Sound moved out of the main Heffers bookshop and into its own premises at No 19 Trinity Street in 1990.
In 2000, Heffers joined with Blackwell's, and we are now part of a group which also includes specialist classical shops in Oxford and Edinburgh.
Our commitment is to provide the very best in customer service, with highly knowledgeable staff, (often Oxbridge and Edinburgh music graduates) and a broad range of stock, with emphasis on early and choral music.
Discounts are available for schools and colleges, as well as for alumni.
In-store Artist Promotions
Our in-store artist promotion series is a chance to meet some of the leading composers and performers working today. Recently we have hosted events for The Sixteen, John Rutter and Tarik O'Regan. Forthcoming events will be posted here.
