Blackwell York

Blackwells has been on the University of York campus since the late 1960's originally trading as Godfrey's University Bookshop and was a satellite of Godfreys Bookshop York, becoming part of UBO and then Blackwell. The shop has been in its present premises at the Market Square Retail Unit since 2001. Trading from one double unit on the 2nd floor and are now sub tenants of the University of York.

Our Services

Primarily an academic campus bookshop. We also provide institutional sales to the University of York, York FE College and York St John University. We are available to run a wide range of bookstalls at local schools (i.e World Book Day) and at local institutions ( i.e specific departmental first day lectures etc). Plus author events, conferences and Festivals
