The second edition of Company Law brings clarity and sophisticated analysis to a company law landscape much altered by the groundbreaking Companies Act 2006. Hannigan captures the dynamism of company law, places the material in context and guides students through all the major topics studied at undergraduate level. The book is divided into five distinct sections covering corporate structure (including legal personality and constitutional issues), corporate governance (including directors' duties and liabilities), shareholders' rights and remedies (including powers of decision-making and shareholder engagement), corporate finance (including share and loan capital), and corporate rescue and restructuring (including liabilities arising on insolvency).

With regards to practical issues, the delivery by Blackwell was really effective since even there was an out of stock a copy of the book has been sent from another bookshop really quickly. ltbrgtAs regards to the book in itself, I just can highly recommend it! It is both accessible I know what I mean because I am an exchange and undergraduate student ... and critical at the same time. It helps to understand fundamental principles of company law in detail, while allowing an easy access to the subject. ltbrgtTo sum up, it is a very good book for beginners in company law, an even for graduate students, or for students whose native language is not English. - Duponteil Camillec Write a review
