This is a book that students will enjoy reading and will go back to time and again! Folens have done their homework here, producing a book that is visually appealing, well laid out and has thorough coverage of the EDEXCEL syllabus. The technical content is thorough and in student friendly chunks, with numerous charts, diagrams and tables that deliver the content in an interesting and informative way. The illustrations use images of current world class athletes and sports stars, which again makes the book appealling and relevant to today's students. An excellent book to introduce topics or for revision as there are Key Terms and Summary boxes at the end of every chapter and the book makes very good use of exam style questions to reinforce learning and of course provide that all important practise for the GCSE Exam itself. If you teach PE using the EDEXCEL syllabus, this book is definitely worth taking a look at. TES Review Bank Be the first to write a customer review
