Martial arts sequel to the movie 'Ip Man' from original director Wilson Yip. The semi-autobiographical drama follows Kung-Fu master Ip (Donnie Yen) as he flees the Japanese and moves to Hong Kong. There, he decides to set up a school for the art of Wing Chun. When a battle is won by one of his pupils, Ip clashes with a rival school master, Hung Quan (Sammo Hung Kam-Bo), who demands that he fight every martial arts teacher in the area in order to prove himself. However, when an arrogant Western boxer, Twister (Darren Shahlavi), is introduced to humilate the local fighters at a boxing competition, they forget their differences and band together to defeat him.
