The aim of this book is to present the subject of genitourinary medicine to medical students during their clinical attachment. It is also designed for doctors working for higher diplomas and to specialist nurses. The material is of two of types fundamental information - designated core and additional areas of interest. It is supplemented with additional material as required. The first section deals with sexually transmitted diseases and the second is devoted to HIV infection which from the clinical point of view is covered by systems. The format more closely equates to patient presentation than disease and MCQs on each topic are designed to act as a stimulus to learning.
