Double pack containing Darren Aronofsky's film 'Requiem for a Dream' and the feature-length documentary 'It'll Be Better Tomorrow', about the author Hubert Selby Jr. 'Requiem for a Dream' (2000) is an emotional drama based on Selby's novel and set in Coney Island, New York. It gives an unflinching insight into the lives and aspirations of four people compromised by drug abuse. The film stars Oscar-winner Ellen Burstyn and Jared Leto as mother and son. 'It'll Be Better Tomorrow' (2005) is a harrowing exploration of the life and art of Hubert Selby J, a self-described 'scream looking for a mouth'. Narrated by Robert Downey Jr, the documentary includes contributions from Lou Reed, Darren Aronofsky and Anthony Kiedis among many others, as well as rare footage of Selby himself reflecting on his life and work.
