"The magic of C. S. Lewis's parallel universe never fades." The Times Blackwell review: The saga of an entire fantasy world, from creation to apocalypse, and the invention in this world of children from ours. There is a running theme of good versus evil, with complex philosophical ideas explained refreshingly simply. However, this never detracts from the pacy adventure which I, like so many others, associate with childhood.
Sarah - Charing Cross Road Customer reviews: The ultimate in fantasy reading, The Chronicles of Narnia were my favourite books as a child and I still enjoy reading them now as an adult. In fact, I am probably more appreciative of the quality writing and ability of C.S. Lewis in creating this other world of Narnia now I am older. These are definately books I would encourage my children to read. - Natalie Owens Write a review
