I wish I had found such a book sooner! This book has all the necessary information foundation doctors need but in a way that can be applied to managing patients on the wards. It really helped me through my medical finals and now for preparing for my F1 post. The sections on the various assessments such as mini-CEXS and DOPS are particularly useful. This book really is different to any of the other handbooks out there and is well worth the investment. - A KThis clinical handbook is very informative and an extremely useful guide on completing the foundation programme. It covers everything you could possibly want and need to know about all of your medical and surgical competencies. Clear guidelines are provided on completing and making the most of the eportfolio. It is great to see useful tips and up to date information on applying to the ST programme. Despite being aimed at the foundation programme, the clinical information provided is relevant to all doctors at any stage of their training. This is a definite must buy! - MKKjust passed and saw thisbook. It is full of information on all the medical, surgical conditions needed for the foundation programme and into SPECIALIST training. Liked the DOPS section which has pictures and step by step into how to do procedures.<br>Good value for the 450 pages you get which is needed to cover the entire foundation and clinical undergraduate time on the wards - robert hargreaves Write a review
