I'm typically someone who plays hours & hours a week on the Xbox & generally don't read books. That all changed when a friend purchased this book for me as a Birthday present. I intended to read the first few pages & come back to the book another day. However from the first page I was hooked & by the end I wanted to meet the Hidden Masters & share a good bottle of Rum & tales of past adventures. Please, Please, Please J Barrow, bring out a 2nd Book with these Characters. - Glorified JesterA thoroughly brilliant and entertaining book it did take me a chapter or two to get into it but well worth it - Bradley DeanClose to comedy genius... I was a lorry driver when i received this book and I couldn't put it down (ok, I did sometimes to look at a map or avoid a crash) - I was reading it before work, on my tacho breaks and in the evening! Jack Barrows mastery of creative, engaging writing makes the text come alive like a film in your mind, many times I laughed so hard my cheeks hurt. Even though I read the book over a year ago now, I still have vivid scenes from it in my memories, complete with sound and atmosphere - which surprises even me! A 10/10 comical masterpiece! - Tristan Hogg Read all reviews (4) Write a review
