There was a great deal to admire about this book. As a useful book for students, it will fit into a small shoulder bag and can be dipped into easily. I particularly liked the recommended Further Reading lists annotated with personal recommendations by the author which will stimulate the curiosity of the motivated! This little book aims to cover an entire discipline. The task of summarising such a huge field, whilst ensuring that all relevant information is included, is set in its context, is discussed in a meaningful manner and yet is also presented in a stimulating way, has in my opinion been admirably achieved by Dr Thambirajah. It should become a core text book for students in psychiatry and mental health nursing and I will certainly be recommending it for my trainees."BMA Awards 2005" Be the first to write a customer review
