It doesn't pay to be bossy - and this is the book to remind you! Simple and strong text accompanies spread upon spread of very witty, very bright and glorious art. This is a complete winner for all those who are determined to be just that little bit different.
Yellow Bird is an individualist who just wants to do his own thing. Staying in hotels, eating ice cream, wearing socks and playing the guitar are just some of his jolly pastimes. Sadly, Black Spider disapproves and attempts to encourage Yellow Bird to be more conventional. Yet, in this delightful and anarchic picture book, the individualist definitely wins out in the end with a spectacularly unexpected conclusion.
