Join the Blackwell Search for Britain's Unsung Medical Heroes To celebrate the opening of its new medical flagship store, Blackwell has launched a nationwide search for the nation's Unsung Medical Heroes. Prominent medical opinion leaders have already submitted their nominations and voted for someone they feel has made a real difference to medicine or to their life personally. If you would like to vote for someone whose invention, findings or pioneering methods have helped change the face of medicine, or even a local doctor or nurse who you feel has not received the acknowledgement they deserve, then vote now to submit your entry online. The closing date for entries is August 31st 2007.
The Blackwell medical flagship store is based in the inspirational settings of Wellcome Collection - a new £30 million visitor attraction from the Wellcome Trust that explores the connections between medically-related disciplines. Come visit the store to discover a centre of scientific excellence in a world of medical heroes.
