For over 250 years the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (RSA) has been a cradle of enlightenment thinking and a force for social progress. Our approach is multi-disciplinary, politically independent and combines cutting-edge research and policy development with practical action. Our work is supported by a 27,000 strong Fellowship - achievers and influencers from every field with a real commitment to progressive social change.

The RSA Public Events Programme is one of the UK's most ambitious and exciting programmes of public discourse, attracting world-class speakers and facilitating debate on the most pressing issues facing society today. Events are free of charge and open to all, and many are streamed live on the RSA website, with podcasts and videos available for free download afterwards.

We are pleased to extend our reach with to offer you a convenient and affordable opportunity to purchase our speakers' books. As with the public events programme, is open and available to any members of the general public who are interested in exploring our speakers' ideas in more detail.
