This book shows that race is a very complex issue on all levels and like a sore it can fester and explode as we are seeing in the news today on a daily basis. The book indicates that Barack Obama had the best intentions when he was elected to the Office of President but, he quickly learned that things don't always go as planned. But isn't that real life. While he has certainly made some blunders, he has also been a target of the Republican Party and others in the Democratic Party who moans and groans about everything he tries to do. The fact is... you can never please everyone. You can only do the best job you can for all people. The author says that she hopes that when you read this book, you will come away doing what she hope all Americans do in this election and that is to get out and champion your candidate and do everything to support the person who ultimately, gets elected as the President of the United States.
