The plan is simple. Sneak a company of dhog soldiers behind enemy lines and open a portal. But when the landing goes wrong, Kyra must lead a ragtag company through hostile territory. In the heat of battle, where the stakes are deadly, a conspiracy of lies surfaces and threatens everything she believes in.
