Publisher's Synopsis
This will be a multi-contributed reference work, that will detail the latest research
and developments in humanitarian engineering from a biomedical perspective.
Contributions will be made by world class scientists and researchers from across
the globe. These individuals are actively involved with discovering and creating
solutions in addressing a wide variety of health and disease concerns pertaining to
the enormous challenges facing many people primarily in Low/Middle Income (and
