Publisher's Synopsis
The two volume Is Jesus "God"? is an unbiased examination of what the Bible really says about Jesus Christ. It is not promoting any religion. Neither is it arguing the Bible is true, or it's inerrant, or Jesus is God, or even that there is a God. This book just examines and clarifies the Bible's real teachings about Jesus. Anyone, believer or nonbeliever, can use it to determine what the most popular book in history really teaches about the person known as Jesus Christ, who lived and died 2000 years ago. With minimal exceptions, it does not tell the reader how to interpret the passages. The Bible is unique: It is the world's only unedited, frameless, correlative anthology. It contains a core message-a soteriological cosmology-that only becomes visible when over fifty doctrines are put together. This may not sound remarkable, but it is a feat that has never been done before. No other collected writings of multiple authors spanning over half a century exist, that when put together, create a single coherent whole-without a common editor harmonizing the books, and without the writers following a common frame (standard and guides). Volume 2 identifies the biblical passages that fall under the Resurrected Jesus and Glorified Jesus domains. It also explains why the Bible's core message is an impossible accomplishment, given how multiple author deliverables are combined into an anthology with a single theme or cosmology. It discusses several intriguing passages that imply humans are much more than just creations of God. If the understanding is valid, a viable explanation would then exist for why God sent his Son to become the sinless substitute for humanity and why Jesus, the entity whom the Bible credits for the creation of the universe; would willingly take responsibility for the collective sins of mankind - something that terrified him. Moreover, this volume identifies the Five Branches of Christianity and clarifies what makes each unique, and what primary doctrines and practices they share with one another. It contains "The 14 Declarations of a Christian" - a statement of belief that over 99% of all Christians can freely profess, regardless of denomination and a "Conversion Preference Flowchart" for those who wish to become a Christian, which identifies the Christian branch they should investigate, based on their personal views. Lastly, it identifies the beliefs and practices of those who will become the "Children of God," regardless of which church they belong to.
