Publisher's Synopsis
This volume contains the papers given at the Soren Kierkegaard Research Centre's Research Seminar in Copenhagen from August 15-18th 2001. the theme of the seminar was the two books which Kierkegaard published in 1843, namely "Repetition" and "Fear and Trembling". While "Fear and Trembling" has always been a familiar work among students and scholars, recently much attention has also been given to "Repetition" primarily by interpretors influenced by deconstruction. The articles in this volume treat these two works from several different perspectives and expertises.
