This is a story of a family of purple parrots who lost their home in Miami Beach due to a hurricane. They happen upon Dr. Jack Egret who helps the baby parrot with an injury. Dr. Egret introduces the parrot family to his friend Judge Stuart Mockingbird, who, in turn, helps the parrots find a new home. In just one day, these two friends work together to bring happiness to this bird family in need.
