Having recently left the seminary, a young man, Patrick Brennan, is trying to decide what path to take in life. As is the proverb states, when the student is ready, the teacher will appear, he meets a mentor, a Japanese gardener, who guides him on this journey of discovery to an awareness of his talents and skills that will lead to the next step in his life's journey.
