As its youngest member, I wanted to preserve all the creepy stories my family told on stormy nights during my childhood. But what started out as an attempt to chronicle our oral traditions, took a surreal turn when I began working at The Atlantic County Courthouse in Mays Landing, NJ.There, increasingly sinister events forced me to face the horrors of my past and come to terms with my place within the "Twilight Zone" of weirdness that surrounds my family - what we call The Zayas Zone.
