Publisher's Synopsis
The Cook's Corner was an adventure, to say the least! I remember the day the recipe came in the mail. At that time, Ray and I belonged to a "gourmet club" where the hostess chose the menu and chose who was going to make it. When I looked at the recipe, I realized how difficult it was going to be to get the ingredients and pan to make it. It was heart-shaped and called for lady fingers and currant jelly, none of which could be found in the small town of Franklin. I remember saying to Ray, "I should open a store for kitchen items." Come inside and enjoy the stories and recipes that brought two stores to life!
